Guy Ritchie does Sherlock

I’ve been a fan of Guy Ritchie ever since I saw Snatch – To me it seems like he’s got his own brand on filmmaking. His films turn to instant cult classics, and being mainly from a music video background he has a quality that is different than your average filmmaker. With Lock Stock, Snatch, and Revolver in mind… When you hear that Guy Ritchie will also be re-creating Sherlock Holmes, you cannot help but laugh. Not that it’s a bad idea (or a good idea either, really) but can you picture it? Anyway, that’s right… Mr. Ritchie has been signed to not only DIRECT the Sherlock Holmes film for Warner Bros., but has has also been signed to WRITE it as well!
